Fresh shelled or non-shelled Norwegian seafood . Choose what you want and get them cooked right in front of your eyes. King crab , salmon , fish cakes and fish soups are all must try.

Olesya

Nice selection of fish and sea food . Not too many booths to choose from but enough. You can also eat there. Prepare for crowds of people though.

An architecture of great quality, disrupting the local environment in what we may describe as "the quintessence of Norwegian design". Products are expensive though.

This is a must see coming through Bergen, obviously the smell isn't pleasant but such a sight, the people are friendly and the food is fresh! Be sure to pick up some fresh lefse while you're there!

Aaron Johnson

Walk the whole row before deciding what you want. Tell the kids they have to find the monkfish (scary!) and the eat on a bench close to the water. Every harbour town should have a fish market !

Baru N.

If you like fish and seafood this is like heaven on Earth! People are really helpful here and the food?! All fresh and delicious!!!

Ozge Altinay

A crazy fish market drives everybody mad! Anybody can die for fresh fish soup and salmon ...try the crab and hot seaplate

Julian Nehmert

A MUST in Bergen ! Freshest fish ever, I'd strongly recommand the sashimi 's as a starter and shellfish seafood platter as a maindish.

Helen Zhang

So many Chinese tourists that there is a Chinese-speaking person working at every stand :P

Maria Thompson

A wonderful fish market hall! Try the combination dish with salmon and shrimps , with salad and baked potatoes ; great with an ice cold local beer !

megan

Definitely for tourists but whatever, embrace it and get the skewered shrimp and a cold local beer .

Carine Spira

More fresh fish couldn't be possible. Very friendly staff . Multilingual as well . Fish is great. They even have whale steak !

Tuesunmerd

The whale, the king crab , the salmon and the rest of the sea clan. So fresh so fast. Try it!

Adam Nowek

Attractive contemporary architecture and good, fresh (if expensive ) seafood . Splurge and try the smoked fish platter .

Bassim

Fresh sea food . I had salmon , shrimps and whale meat ! They were as delicious as I expected but the food is a but oily.

Esra

A nice and fast meal???????? Fish lovers’ happy place ☺️

Espiranza Bint Abdulla

Excellent location. 360 glass panaromic view . You can buy fish and you can dine in. yummy

ncursed

Fish sellers know a lot of languages, incl. italian, spanish, russian, french and english. Amazing mix dishes with salmon and whale meat .

Farah

Delicious meals and fresh fish . Go watch the king crabs in the aquariums !

Kate Furman

The fish soup is not as creamy as American fish soup but worth the try.

Bryan Koo

Husebo - NOK250 for a decent dish of king crab - nice!

Mike Kolcov

Delicious fresh seafood , but be ready for obsessive sellers and hell high prices

Amanda

Get the fish soup - creamy, tasty and lots of fresh seafood in it. NOK 120. Don't get the sushi .

Elena Lazebnik

Nice, but the prices are creasy-as for tourists , locals don’t by there-at the nearest supermarket you can find seafood 5 times cheaper.

Matouš Hájek

Come just before closing (5pm) and get a 50% discount on fresh sea food dishes

Bernardo Salazar

People will go ve you a taste of their fish products. All fresh.

Arabella Scott

Huge king crabs ! Beautiful glass emporium too.

Aybige Cantürk

Fresh fish . You should try whale meat ????????

Art

It's a place you should have your meal once when being in Bergen...but it's rather quick meal .... just to enjoy an attracting view of this town ...

Chet Mancini

Fun to walk though, but I don't imagine locals buy their fish here.

Baptiste Cadiou

Very tasty seafood ^^ Nice people

Sandra Rubinchik

The king crab legs are so meaty and so good.

Brett DeWoody

Very touristy and expensive , but some good finds.

Lori Sherman

Fresh shrimps & oysters !

Vansi

Way better than the street vendors but this isn’t really a “market ” either.

Erling G

The selection of fish is superb

Tiefebrunen

Eat whatever you found from the sea!

Sabrina Majeed

Went here expecting it to be more like Tsujiki and instead got Whole Foods. It's pretty touristy , but the fish soup IS good, if a bit expensive .

MrWhiteman Reviews

Best shrimps ever! Eat them raw!

Levend Mert

Fish soup was very very good.

Enes Bahar

I drunk the worst fish soup I've ever drunk and it was the most expensive one. I wish to find a bit more fish in the soup . It was like a creamy soup . I don't recommend!!

Alexey

best place to eat good fish

Maria Sjögren

I ordered a mix of different types of fish . Unfortunately it wasn't so good. The white fish was quite tasteless. And it was way too expensive for a fast food meal, which it is.

Ana Paula Moraes

Super must go !

osman s

Jamie Gerrish

Alan Winter

Ewa Wojtowska
