Bryggen is a historic and protected site Bryggen Bergen located in Norway.
Bryggen (Dreggsallmenningen) 5003 Bergen Norway
You can't miss this historic neighbourhood of old wooden houses and tiny alleys ("smau" in local lingo.) It's tourist-y with some awful souvenir shops, but also beautiful.
beautiful and very interesting place. Pray for sun to have the best photos.
Bryggen also known as Tyskebryggen ("the German Wharf ") is a series of Hanseatic commercial buildings lining the eastern side of the fjord coming into Bergen. Read more
Bryggen features some nice restaurants and bars with outdoor seating . It features a nice view . The big traffic going through is a nuisance.
Better not to visit on Saturdays when all the cruises come to the city . Much more comfortable to walk around without crowds.
It's smaller than expected and tge interesting parts are really at the back end of the buildings. Overall I thought they could make better use of the space.
Beautiful buildings with an uncanny valley vibe because of all the tourists shops within. Feels almost fake, like Disneyland.
Beautiful old houses with history. Harbour atmosphere.
Nice area to spend some time walking.
Cozy town with nany harbors . 2nd largest town in Norway
Must see. But everything is closed off the season
Watch getting behind your groups, the walk ways are very narrow, you could get stuck
Lovely spot but a bit crowded
Explore the wooden galleries , you will find the entrances to higher stores between the houses
Beautiful street lined with houses.
Nice time to Waking around ..know as German wharf
WHY THERE: piece of cultural legacy
Absolutely worth visiting it!
Definitely worth a visit
Mainly tourist shops .
Cute shops in the area
One of most beautiful places of Bergen
Wooden village
The night view is not as good as the camera shot.
touristy tip, I know but; try the whale and the typical Norwegian fish soup ! It owns!
Nice houses and food.
As of September 12, 2011, the place is undergoing many restoration works. Not many craftsman shops to look at, and far too many touristy souvenir shops... Take this into account!
Looks very nice but its very full of people.
Nice place!
This place is amazing
VOC office , German style
Is not what I expected.
BRYGGEN FTW WHOOOO
Too touristic .
