The Reindeer Filet was so tender, delicious, and prepared perfectly! It's served with a creamy mushroom sauce and Brussels sprouts .
Two very good meals at this local favourite that came highly recommended and did not disappoint. Fish soup , scallops and reindeer filet good choices. Good authentic local dishes at reasonable prices
This is a must goto restaurant when in Bergen. Fresh well cooked seafood , friendly service , and cozy decor will make you feel at home. Be sure to try the reindeer .
Vegetarian lasagna was huge and very tasty! There 3 vegetarian choices - salad , burger and lasagna . It’s rather expensive . Very nice and cozy place.
Nice traditional Norwegian cuisine, locals as well as tourists . Quite busy, reserving a table could be a good idea in the weekend. We would certainly come back!
Another Bryggen favourite- traditional Norwegian fare, dates to the early 19th century, which is plenty of time to master the art of cooking reindeer , wolf-fish and lutefisk (dried whitefish )
Fish soup and cod were outstanding. The reindeer and whale were ok but I think that’s a function of me not the preparation.
Authentic Norwegian - try a combination of starters to sample it all: fish soup , elk , smoked salmon with caviar , mussels with white wine . Delicious!
Definitely decent food. Maybe on the expensive side in comparison with others but worth it.
Elegant atmosphere, delicious meals. I advise reendeer steak . Expensive as every other places in Norway.
Popped in for a very late dinner . Very nice soup . Very good fish . Friendly staff .
Huge portions but lovely food. Hard liquor sold after 1pm.
Best halibut ever! Delicious!
Mussels are the best ever had in my life! Try not to regret later
In season halibut amazing so is the seafood soup . Divine
Fish soup & reindeer steak are well worth the visit
Make a reservation , head straight upstairs and skip the line .
Rendeer meat and bergen fush soup are worth to try.
Norwegian Fish Soup - delicious.
Creamy fish soup ! Yums!
One of your only vegetarian options in this part of Bergen.
Had 3 vegetarian options , that weren't pizza . That's a win in my book . Veggie burger was good
Try the halibut , you won’t regret it.
Try the reindeer fillet - little expensive but definitely worth it :)
Lamb filet
Bergen fish soup was fantastic. Try it...
Reindeer steak was amazing!
Good, but Definitely for the senior citizen crowd.
Sorry, but this place is a tourist trap. Ready made sauces and desserts and menu that hasn't changed for a couple of decades. Tip: go to a real restaurant .
Mussels and reindeer
Bergen fish soup really rocks. Try it!
Try the fish ????
No Wi-Fi, just talk to each other ;-)
Nydelig fiskesuppe!
Very tasty!
Norwegian food
Fantastic food and service.
Masse god øl!
Good but pricey
Check out bergen fish soup
Very disappointing place..
Helt nydelig laksefilet
the steak was nice, but the fish too dry
Actually called Bryggeloftet & Steune
Whale is excellent!

Fresh shelled or non-shelled Norwegian seafood. Choose what you want and get them cooked right in front of your eyes. King crab, salmon, fish cakes and fish soups are all must try. - Salih Seckin Sevinc
