Beautiful view of Bergen ! They have 2 floors of restaurant (1st floor a-la carte and more formal one on the 2nd floor). Little souvenir shop, bbq spot, children playground . Must go in Bergen!
While main viewing area is nice, I also recommend the many trails behind it. You can take a short or long hike into the Norwegian woods from the top of Floyen. Or just hike back down to Bergen!
Want to go from quaint downtown straight to a (mini) mountain ? Take the Fløibanen funicular up to Fløien. It has views , cafe , plenty of hiking routes. I recommend walking the windy trails back down.
Hike to the top of the mountain for a fun hour filled with the greenest park you'll ever see and tons of scenic views . More hike trails at the top. Take the tram back down.
So nice! We had a fun little ride up, beautiful view of Bergen , nice easy hike back down to the city center.
The view is amazing and well worth the trip. There is a gift shop and cafe at the top. Make sure you grab a car on the funicular where you can watch the harbor as you ascend.
The best view of Bergen you can get. The funicular costs 45NOK on way, 90NOK return ticket but this place is a must visit if you are in Bergen.
it’s wonderful to see the city from above, silently watch the view , the harbour , the lakes then ask yourself what’s left to explore in Bergen?
That's really the best bit of Bergen. Head up there, take your pictures and selfies and then walk the 3 km down to the City . It's definitely feasible!
The most worthy place to visit in Bergen, with a great view from the city and its neighborhood . It has a small store with cheap souvenirs and good trails through nature.
Beautiful views of the Bergen warf and nearby mountains from the top of the mountain . The round trip ride up the Fløibanen furnicular costs 85 NOK ($13 USD). Well worth the trip!
Gorgeous views and even more gorgeous hiking trails within. Felt like walking through a forest from a fairytale.
View of Bergen from the top is just breathtaking. Highly recommended to take this trip. Beware of slippery stairs in winter.
When taking the funicular plan on spending a couple hours at the top. There are lots of beautiful paths, lakes and lots of goats .And the view is spectacular.
If you go to Bergen you should definitely go Floyen and see the city bird-sight

Try the biggest and freshest cinnamon buns in Bergen, and enjoy while looking at the breathtaking view !!
Best lookout, especially in the early morning before lift with tourists starts to come, the steep nightwalk was worth it.

a must if you're in Bergen - wonderful view in the day and in the dark as well , nice walking routes
Amazing view over Bergen. Tiring walk up the hills , but definitely worth it!
Great view , with a better weather you can sit and bring something to eat/drink
Take the Floibanen up and you won't regret it on a good day. Can just skip the Ulriken . That is slightly off town and may be closed for maintenance.
Top of bergen, lovely view .funicular is a bit problem with a long long queu
Take the Ulriken railtrain and enjoy the amazing view of Bergen. Fjords, typical houses and nature will surround hou beautifully.
The views are fantastic and the hike down is great, even for the kids!!
Just amazing, do the hike it is easy and with many great views .
The locals will tell you it takes 30 minutes to walk up, but not if you're going at a normal walking pace. Schedule an hour or so and enjoy the sunset and a beer at the mountaintop café .
The funicular is great, but save time to either walk down or up so you can take it all the nature.
Don't stay around the station all the time, the trails in all directions are great.
Amazing lookout. Nearby and accessible.
Come in the morning if you can - the light for photos is better.
Make sure you do the hike on a sunny day, or else you won't be able to see anything at all!
With the Bergenskortet bus card you still have to pay Kr 50. Nice view . Avoid summer morning lines when cruise passengers show up.
The view is cool. On a sunny summer day you'll get some cool pictures.
Use your fjord pass to get a discount on the ticket
Well worth queuing for the Funicular to get up here, amazing views !
If it's foggy in the city , DON'T take funicular up. You won't see anything!
