If you have difficulties going up stairs (say a knee injury), ask for a room on the ground floor as there isnt an elevator...well not one I could find, otherwise the buffet meals are awesome!

Rooms are fine but hotel is very noisy : guests using hallways for loud convos and could hear the television of neighboring guests through the door that separates the rooms. Bring ear plugs!
Now this was a very pleasent surprise. The new Duke is the place to eat and socialise - great food, friendly service, nice atmosphere. I loved the kids menu with kiwi favourites like Marmite & chips - Manuela Gmür Hornell
