The most unbelievable lamb I have ever had in 40 years. Never had a lamb like it. Seafood chowder was fantastic as well . I rate this the best. RATE 10/10

The chowder is to die for served in a bread bowl . Great new menu and excellent service. It pays to book weekends and summer holiday period

Now this was a very pleasent surprise. The "new" Duke is the place to eat and socialise - great food, friendly service , nice atmosphere. I loved the kids menu with kiwi favourites like Marmite & chips

Oh god, had the slow-cooked Hawkes Bay lamb . Arrived in five minutes and was the best lamb I've had in my life. I'm not kidding.

Let down by a few fundamental elements of customer service eg had to ask for wine list , weren't offered specials, but food was generally very good, esp Seafood Chowder and Smoked Mullet pie .

Sea food was good Food but cashier was a rude man who made mistake in our bill.

Staff friendly and good baby changing facilities
