an afternoon in Jett 's patio is nice. also be sure to stop by the "Giant"/James Dean memorial room: dedicated to all-things-Giant, you can sit and watch the movie some afternoon
Chicken fried steak with jalapeno gravy from Jett 's Grill. There is also free wifi - probably the best connection I had all weekend.
Sit at bar first, & get the lay of the land. Good at restaurant is fabulous. Don't order entree until appetizer comes; service is quick. Will come back again.
The Hotel is lacking in the fine details. The place is beautiful but be kind in judgement. Bar operates between 5 and 9. Stripes two blocks down has beer . Wine need to find some other town .
Fabulous historical value! Not a high-end hotel & definitely not managed well . Complimentary breakfast w/hard-boiled eggs improperly cooked.
Sit outside by the fountain at Jett 's and have a jalapeño margarita .
The chicken nachos are delicious. The Greek Salad was very fresh and tasty. The Michiladas were spicy . Thumbs up!
All is old, nothing is new. In the fifties it was alive, now we are still looking for its shadows. A Margarita cocktail and nothing more.
great shops in the lobby with awesome gifts for family and friends so items though you can find online for a few bucks less
Angus Burger loaded with Bacon , avocado and all the fixins with Parmesean fries was very good, and enough for two people.
Free wifi through out the hotel , but if you're on AT&T you'll be on the edge network and only near some windows and/or the courtyard . Remember this before changing into PJs.
Be sure to bring your bathing suit, lovely pool.
Jetts Grill. I don't know. Simply don't bother. Padres is the place to relax or Dairy Queen . Both are worth the money. Jetts Grill not so much.

Restaurant closes @ 9pm. Don't get stuck and have to go eat @ Dairy Queen ...eat early
Restaurant food is bland. Go to Dairy Queen where your money is better spent. Bloody Mary has horse radish warning. Chicken fried steak is bad.
Prickly pear margarita is amazing.
A manhattan higher-quality hotel in the middle of nowhere Texas. The food was awesome too. But, the staff complains too much out in the open. - RC
