The barramundi and linguine with shrimp were both amazing! Also definitely do not miss out on the date pudding while you're here. Cute , small restaurant . Make a reservation .
Best restaurant in town but slightly pricey . Sit at the bar and try to Celery and Smoke cocktail and then asparagus appetizer (ask for bread ) and the chicken chilaquiles . Anything is good here.
Chilaquiles as an entree will blow your mind. Date pudding w/ caramel might make you cry. Fine dining that's delicious without pretense. Fantastic old-style cocktails . We crashed Hilary Swank's bday.
make a reservation and try to come here on the earlier side since they run out of things. loved the shrimp & grits , cornbread , and THE BEST chicken chilequilas. #nycapproved
If you're in Marfa, this is where you should be for dinner . Don't miss the escargot or Toshi's Date Pudding . Read all about my visit below! Read more
Nowadays it seems that every small town has 1 amazing restaurant . This is Marfa's. Try the shrimp and grits or gnocchi to start. Finish with the date pudding .
set in a 100-year-old adobe building redone in a style that the owner, Tom Rapp, calls “friendly Minimalism.” The desserts , especially the baked-to-order date pudding , are excellent.
House bread , chilaquiles , and date pudding were great. Could have skipped the pear salad .
The food and cocktails are amazing, but be sure to make a reservation well in advance of your visit.
Everything we ordered was wonderful, but the date pudding is an absolute must! (We even ordered a second one.)
It's the top recommended place in Marfa but I much preferred Maiyas if you had one sit down dinner here
Get the artichoke hearts and the gin mule. Sit in the back corner and look out the small window.
Food is good.. you just have to wait 1.5 hrs for a soup .... and that 364 out of 365 days is incredibly sad....
must try the date pudding . artichoke hearts are also really good.
order the sticky date pudding and flourless chocolate soufflé . amazing, truly.
Great place. You should eat here while in Marfa. And, get the bacon if you're there for breakfast .
If you're looking to celebrate something special, this is the place.
The escargot is the best I've ever had!
Vegan walnut pate !
shrimp & grits are a must. so is the tequila old-fashioned.
Tapas (all!), cocktails , and filet. Truly no disappointments.
Skip everything. Go directly to the date pudding . Enjoy.
The Thai soup is insanely yummy. Also the date pudding is a MUST.
Don't skip the fried artichokes .
I don't know why the rating is so low here. I literally saw Beyonce here.
Steak frites w/ Barramundi in the background.
So delicious!
Staff was pretty rude, they were doing you a favor by seating & waiting on you. Food was okay, nothing to come back for. Although the restaurant was half empty, they sat everyone next to each other.
Great coffee ! Cool spot! Check out when you're in Marfa!
Delish! Even sitting at the bar is awesome
The Rhubarb Sophie is amazing
get there early, they run out of some options as the morning progresses. especially, when there are events in town .
Brunch is no longer offered ????
Excellent!
Go early before the run out things. Kitchen has an attitude! (via Scoville) Read more
OMG! Get the date pudding ! Pure goodness.
It's laid back , man. Embrace the inefficiency.
Our server just tipped herself. Boo! :-(
Coffee was free with dinner .
Unfortunately disappointing. They were out of several items on their small menu, and the service and food were very, very slow. The filet was over-salted and not worth it.
Si hace buen clima pidan una mesa en el patio . Todos los platillos son excelentes.
Portobello mushroom burger is fantastic. Pistachio steak and tortilla crusted chicken are winners as well. - Jonathan Boone
Be sure to chat with Ty- he really makes this place the best bar in town. Try some local brews, too! - Deanna
One must be patient watching for the lights at night. A thermos of bourbon will greatly assist in your experience here - Jack Parrott
I love this place! Great ambiance, delicious nachos, fantastic service, and a really cool teepee hangout area. - Kelsey Langille
Unique experience. ❤️ the concept. It gets cold in October so bring warm clothes. Bring soap too. The outdoor showers are awesome. I stayed at a teepee and they're huge. Would definitely come back. - Sheyla Concepcion
