Parking available, sevral paths , some of them take hours of walking ! The most important ones are 15-20 minutes walking. Good for pics.
Great place for a relaxing walk/hike and watching natural volvanic lava formations . Feels like in another world; the whole area feels the same..
Hiking trails of various lengths, if you have the time (took approx 90 mins) do the longest as the scenery is just incredible. Was lucky enough to be here during snow at sunset = breathtaking
Very mysterious and impressive place. Different hiking tracks through beautiful rock and lava sculptures
Wonderful trails - be prepared for a lot of mud if you come here in May during the thaw. Wear boots !!
It's a good place to go a make pictures of the northern lights . Beautiful scenery to walk through in all times of the year.
Throw up your metal horns and put on some corpse paint, because you're at Dimmuborgir!
Super cool looking rocks. Confusing maps. Gorgeous in winter. What more could you want?
Spectacular other-worldly scenery, especially in the snow!
Even if you only have 20 minutes to pop in - do it. Definitely worth it.
A garden formed by a walkway around the volcanoes
Nice „lava“ spot for black metal lovers :D
Flies! Flies the damn flies. Quick walk around to see the formations but nothing spectacular.
Take the "difficult" path. Very rewarding!

We visited during wintertime and the waterfall was half frozen, which made it extra epic. Definitely a must see in Iceland. - George M.
