Love the location, the pool area , and the koi pond serene ambiance. Dislike the old rooms, noisy beds and 90s style alarm clocks.

Gym open from 6am to 10pm. Get there early. Treadmills are all taken pretty quickly and BONUS-- there is a basket of head sets if you forget yours. Like I always forget mine. Happy Sweating!!

I don't know what enjoy more about this place... The trains that run right behind the hotel or the fact that you can hear elevators running from just about anywhere. #argh

The walls are super thin and the cable TV was super pixelated and not functioning half the time. Great location right by the Caltrain Station , but not the greatest property.

Its location is good. Very close to Stanford Uni, El Camino Real, Downtown Palo Alto and CalTrain Station .

They recently finished renovation of the lobby and conference center. Good place to hold a large event .

Checkout the koi pond and try to stay zen about this hotel . They charge $9.99 a day for Internet which should be a crime. Protip: book a $69 shuttle to SFO with the front desk to save $$

The swimming river is really murky and has giant fish that attack you. Bring a mask and a spear.

The Starwood preferred rooms are amazing minus the heavy doors in the place that can wake you up when neighbors leave or enter their rooms.

Small bathroom compares to the Westin next door. The AC unit is in each room which is fine but it says the establishment is older. The Westin has central AC & newer.

Overall a nice place and great location. The wireless internet is pretty weak though. Barely worked in our room and I wasn't able to pick it up on my iPad in the lobby.

The is surprisingly nice. 5 treadmills , 3 ellipticals and 2 bikes plus free weights.

Ask for a garden facing room, that way you'll not hear traffic or Caltrain. Wifi worked fine on 2nd floor room 2046.
