Make sure you book the room with views of the Edinburgh Castle . It's a rare opportunity to sleep in a room with the castle just outside your window.
The Cranston's Restaurant here serves traditional Scottish cuisine--simply fantastic. Great views from here as well .
Try and get a dinner or breakfast table at the front of the building, for the views . Avoid rooms on the side of the building - noisy !
Young and helpful stuff , haven't seen a frown on anyone's face. Excellent view .
Location, cleanliness, comfortable room , breakfast and staff .
Perfect location! Great breakfast .
Have a room with views over Princes Street. Especially now, because of the German Christmass Market .
Great location! Pay a little more for room with view . Double room isn't small at all. Lobby is on 2nd floor... No sign to say so.
Location excellent. Could do with a bit of an upgrade but the beds are comfy !
Great location. Nice breakfast
Can't find the switch for the towel rail? Check outside the bathroom next to the light switch.
DO NOT get an internal room. They are permanently dark and have no outlook. The windows have opaque glass. Not good enough in 21st Century Britain. They are also noisy due to the fans outside.
Superb location. But breakfast is too basic
Ask for table 5 in the restaurant . Probably the best seat in Edinburgh,
Great location and nice staffs :)
Won't come back here. Rooms as small as a closet , inpolite staff unable to solve problems. Noisy rooms. But a Nice place in town .
Great place for a sneaky wee drink in the cafe here!
You have to pay for the WiFi WTF!!
Very nice hotel - friendly staff , great location.
This place sucks and you should see the room; it's the size if a closet with a twin bed. Horrible service. The good reviews must be from old people or the dead!
Schönes Hotel , dass absolut zentral liegt. Fast alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß zu erreichen
While the decor isn't the best, the afternoon tea was delightful. The sandwiches were HUGE. - Josh Mateo
Burger was awesome, thx Akos the best chef. Nice and quite place though - Tibor Galamb
I can recommend the Haggis Bon Bons from the bar menu. The Burger and chicken breast from the room service menu were delicious and hot. - Mark Ford
Rebranded recently from the Royal Hotel to an Indigo, it's better location than the other one at York Place. Friendly staff and genuinely good wifi. Faced issues with hot water taps malfunctioning. - Ankur Banerjee
Beautiful! A must go place in Edinburgh! Has an amazing view of the city. - Fernanda Araujo
The view on top was really really gorgeous! Definitely worth climbing! - JJ Ying
