I make a 500 mile round trip to stay here, have done for many years. Staff welcoming but not intrusive, a good base for trips out or stay and be entertained in house, usually something going on here.
Just seen the New Year in here, not for the first time. Good humoured, friendly and fun. Nice crowd, enjoying the company and “Auld Lang Syne.”
Any food Mary cooks is great always real ale on and if you get to drunk b and b upstairs
