Cute little restaurant in cal ave. The food is delicious. We like the cold asparagus soup , the salmon and the steak .
A place for foodies. I love the place. My favorite dish: cucumber soup ... cold and out of this world
delicious food that they get from local farmers markets and a cute space.
Try the Swedish Tartine . It's fabulous. If you like Bistro Élan, you'll love its sister restaurant , Birch Street.
Scallops-slightly bland but if you eat it with the lentils it'll brings out the flavor of the scallop . Iron steak was slightly cold. Tip to get in on an extra hot plate.Bread was definitely a workout.
Ask for patato waffle with salmon . They don't have it in thr menu but sometimes cook them for fun:)
One of my very top favorites on California Ave. Chicken salad at lunch is A+
Arugula salad and tuna with beetroots are the best
Outstanding food and atmosphere. Love it.
You can see Paul Graham of ycombinator here very often.
Staff and service are good but the food is so so, small portions and very expensive
Very good but hella hella loud .
Bistro Elan's new home. Eat here.
Small place but Delicious and flavory crepes, loved the salad and the waiter treated us ridiculously well... Will be our fav French place from now on. - @flakitavalente™ ????
Low-drama Parisian fare. Nice wines, amusing and good menu. Good for dates, reasonably quiet. - Chris Kantarjiev
Their vegetarian soup was excellent, was a puréed celery that night, and the gnocchi was excellent. - Frank Kim
