Atmosphere here is very lively . Get stingray , BBQ chicken wings , pork porridge , satay , curry mee and lor bak here and wash it all down with sour plum kumquat. Fruit juice is diluted with water.

Luis W.

MUST TRY the mixed pork porridge , and 老字号荣记 fried egg with oyster (蚝煎)! Not advice to try the satay that the drinks waiter recommend to you, very expensive and not nice at all! BBQ chicken no nice too

lililala four

Is a local food heaven, many local food n many people too like people mountain people sea. Anyone came to penang must come here, better then Gurney drive hawker food there totally cant compare here.

Sharon

Love the Assam laksa , ckt (the one with printed menus) & Chee Cheong fun . In fact most of the other food we ordered - kuay Teow tng, Chee chap porridge , chic wings , pork satay , etc - was good too.

Adrian Chan

Char Koay Teow is worth for queue. Nice wok taste. While queuing can order satay next to it. Pork Satay better than Melaka . Fried Oyster was bad same goes to curry noodles . Loh Bak is nice.

Jerry Ong ????

Just had the durian and their musang king is expensive . Then straight continue to hawker food so didn't order much, There's few char koay teow stall but must try the 1 in the pictures and bbq chicken

New Lane is a street food paradise w/ about 50 stalls serving hokkien mee (stir-fried noodles ), popiah (fresh spring rolls ), & ikan bakar (chargrilled fish , often stingray , on a banana leaf ) -trvlchnl

Bradley Abner

Char kueh teow , oyster egg , pork satay & varieties of chinese street food . Lots of food choices here.

TsuiRen Clover

Ask for the prices before placing orders for the drinks at the table. We got charged 10RM for one glass of Lemon tea + one glass of Honey Lemon .

Rebekkah Paulette

I really liked the pork satay and the prawn noodle ! Definitely having those again, next time I'm here! Didn't think the Char Kuey Teow was that great, not my favorite.

Qishin Tariq

This tiny aunty sells otak-otak that's seriously big on taste (RM3). She doesn't have a stall, so make sure to call her over if you spot her making the rounds through the court.

Casi Gerber

Ngiom Far Luan cooks satay outside Maxim Cafe on New Lane. Her secret is in the way she fans the flames & uses charcoal which gives the meat a unique smoky taste. A stick costs less than 20p -trvlchnl

Char koey teow at sin yin name (stall behind popiah stall) to me is the best. Eggs are so fragrant and not too oily

Terence Parker

Some stalls open before 4pm; many open after - but if you’re not flexible and need to eat early then this is a good spot!

Chris Lee

This shop serve really good fried intestine congee . They deserve better rating. A bowl only cost rm5. Fried oyster a big disappointment, tasted better one at lam ah coffee shop opposite bomba station

Bk Thong

Char koay teow by stall in sin Yin nam xafe in the evening is wonderful

jwön

For KL folks, most of the food here is above average. Must try the curry mee from the stall outside, and also the Leng Chee kang. Beef noodles and hokkien mee also decent. Char kuey teow is too salty.

Alvin Kong Siang Yew

The San Cafe 's Dragon Lemon and Black Grape ( Beverage ) are the best... ... ... But sometimes Black Grape Are Not available

Daphne Choong

All the nice food! Chow Kuey Teow, Penang laksa , loh mee , lobak. And the Oh Jian (oyster omelette ). And the Ikan Bakar (bbq sting ray).

Chrissy

Love the chee cheong fun with lotsa 虾膏,and the homemade 杏仁糊

TsuiRen Clover

Tried the Char Koay Teow near the mouth of the road and the one behind the popiah stall. Prefer the one behind the popiah stall. Overall all food just ok only.

Hans Jonathan

The most valuable street food vendors in Georgetown ! Try curry mee just for RM 4.00, i've eaten 3 portion already ! Now i can't even walk ! ;P

TC Boi

Great atmosphere. Plenty of food varieties. Located near Sunway penang hotel .

You can find a lot of Penang foods here, it's recommend for tourist to come here

Alex Andra

For first timer, try the curry noodle here, it's quite a bomb. There are 2 curry noodle stalls here try the one with older stall (not the one with yellow signage).

Ht Wong

Most tables r not free seat. They R reserved and u r forced to buy their food. There R many nice street food else where. I don't visit here anymore

The Hungry Doc

We keep coming back for their BBQ chicken wings and pork porridge !

Derick Wong

Plenty of food truck stalls with variety of dishes at one location.

Chai ML

Dry wanton mee Penang style is ok... Fry kueh kak below average..Chinese style chicken/ pork satay and sauce is ok.. Not many stalls to choose from. Price is on higher side

EasterBunny

I usually come here for the Pork Intestine Porridge only

Cy Liew

Bernice Mei

This coffee shop is a small business outlet , without order any drink , will charged Rm1/person .. Then ice-kacang , cendol , dessert and be charged at RM1/item.

Boon

Prawn noodle soup at the corner stall is highly addictive. Also, the hawker stalls are closed every wednesday.

Yanthong W

Fried oyster , chicken wings are my favourite!
