Founded in 1873, the Sri Mahamariamman Temple is the oldest and richest Hindu temple in Kuala Lumpur. It provided an important place of worship for early Indian immigrants.

Lots of colorful & ornate figures adorn the temple inside & out. Note there are morning & afternoon hours and that there's a fee of .20 MYR to hold your shoes (you're asked not to carry them in a bag)

A must visit in KL. Very beautiful temple ! Remember to respect the temple area and be quiet .

Statues , dioramas, and wall art depict colorful scenes from Hindu lore. No shoes allowed. Leave your footwear at the counter outside. The paved ground can get hot; socks recommended.

There is a both where the staff will store both your shoes and socks . You will pay a fee to get in.

its a free India temple we can visit.not that much huge but very special design. Located at pataling street.

There is no shoes policy in the area. Foot wear racks are available in side entrance for RM 0.40

No shoes/socks when entering the temple . Put them in plastic/bag if you dont want to pay for a storage during your visit.
