The best way to explore it is by walking! There are buildings and ancient ruins everywhere the city so make sure you have comfy shoes and the camera with you!

Life is to short to explore this Eternal City . It's necessary to walk across the city . Ignore public transport , enjoy the ancient building and landscapes.

Bring a rain poncho, umbrella, tripod, bags, at least one scarf , all sorts of blinking trinkets, rubber toys and post cards and wear them publicly all times to fend off the armies of sales people ;-)
