Cameron Highlands is one of Malaysia’s most extensive hill stations. It covers an area of 712 square kilometres (275 sq mi).
39000 Cameron Highlands , Pahang Malaysia
Tanah Rata for familiar shops, Brinchang for dry & wet groceries , souvenirs plus recreational activity spots.. Hiking , camping , atv etc. Great for day trip or few night stay with the climate & scenes
Must visit if you want to see more to Malaysia than shopping malls . Strawberries in abundance, but keep off the shops on the roadside. You will get everything cheaper at the Pasarmalam or night market
G-tip: Take a free tour of the BOH Tea processing plant or just sit down and appreciate the majestic landscape of the plantation over a cup of hot tea and a slice of cake ;) Read more
Perfect place to enjoy the cool weather and hike tgrough the jungle. Trail 14 to Gunung Irau isthe most beautiful but also challenging. Make sure to not miss out on the Boh Tea plantation .
A must-see place on your tour to MY. Amazing landscapes and scenery. Use ecocameron services for guided tours , plan a 2day stay at least.
The escape for all Malaysian. So everybody is there during weekend or long holiday. Do expect long queue, traffic jams & full books . Plan early. For best times do avoid peak season as mentioned.
Go up in the weekday else you will be in a jam for hours. Take motion sickness pills if you are in the back seat and have a pint at the smoke house by the fireplace and say hi to Joe.
..ever since malaysia experiencin' el-nino..it's good to go here if you don't mind to travel..chillin' weather helps you to cool off..and please bear the traffics ..
Uhhhh such a beautiful place. We loved it here. Go on weekdays. I warned you. It's a massive chaos on the weekends. Traffic was unbelievably crazy for such a small town .
They have shifted the night market to another corner. Cameron Highlands is very crowded during holidays. Strawberry farms and tea plantation is the must visit place. Temperature around 16 to 20 C
It's a very long drive but once you get there you will not be disappointed. Great weather with great scenery. Some very good restaurants too.
We stayed at Hotel de La Ferns during our friend's wedding at Cameron Highlands last year October....quite a nice hotel http://www.cameron-highland-hotel.com/hotel-de-la-ferns.html Read more
Mount Irau hike was amazing! But prepare for lots and lots of mud. Bring an entire set of extra clothes and keep your mobile phone and wallet in a ziplock!
Pls b considerate. Don stop ur vehicle middle of the main road to load/unload passengers (except OKU) & stuffs. Brinchang can b less congested & less stressful if every visitor is mindful abt others.
Fresh air , fresh tea , fresh breeze. Love this place so much.
4 routes to get here. 1st from TAPAH .. 2nd from SIMPANG PULAI... 3rd from SG KOYAN, and 4th from LOJING! Choose wisely and accordingly. And DRIVE CAREFULLY!
Nice scenery & great tea , Best place for sightseeing and enjoy the tea
Check out the little Whisper Waterfall. It is just by the road side.Water is amazingly cold. You can't swim in it,but it is good enough to dip your legs and play around.More info http://2my.cc/?376 Read more
Tea Plantations are the highlights of this destination. Tanah Rata is a nice quaint little town . Very enjoyable!
Beautiful views , cold wether, KFC is the only fast food , Strawberry farm is a must place to see. One day is enough in CH
If u want to go during weekend, brace yourself for long and heavy traffic . Its like Malacca during weekend.
I'll definitely come back! Love the weather. Use Simpang Pulai road to reach CH. Tapah road is very narrow.
Tea plantation, butterfly park , lavender garden , strawberry farm , vegetable farm , bee farm .
It's a lovely place to get some fresh air here and get away from hustle and bustle city .
Beautiful place but traffic can be worse than the cities during national public holiday and festive season.
Nice place to escape the heat. Enjoy nature, eat strawberries , have some steamboat
If you wanna take a respite from the hot weather this is the place to be ????????
The highlights are Boh Tea Plantation and Mossy Forest . Just magical!
Need to come here in the morning if you're not planning to stay. The road back to Tapah was quite dangerous at night.
On weekends and public holidays Cameron Highland is freaking jam nowadays and its a hassle to get from one place to another. Consider visiting during non peak days. More relaxing.
Do not use the Simpang Pulai route during weekends to get to Brincang/Tanah Rata . You can be stucked in the jam for more than an hour!
Breathtaking view and soothing place to calm your mind
:: Take lots and lots of pics while you're here and don't forget to grab some strawberries before leaving this place.
Beautiful hideaway from tropical heat!
Alhamdulillah arrived :)
If you need a region non crowded or full of buildings, this place is for you :) nature is everywhere !
Must run, experience the fresh air and beautiful scenery .. awesome!!
Don't go during the rainy seasons! Lotssssss of landslides and inconvenient to walk around.
Don't drive. Walking is better during holidays.
