Full of little nooks and crannies, and cobblestone roads . Lots of history in this part of the city . Make sure to take a walk or bike ride into Rossalyn, as it can provide a lovely view of the River
Need a shopping spree? Georgetown is known for its fashion but don't forget about Georgetown Cupcakes , one of the best in the country . Yes, there is also the exorcist stairs , just don't go at night!
This is a great neighborhood to spend your Saturday or Sunday afternoon! All kinds of shopping and restaurants up and down the main thoroughfare of M Street. LITS to do and see!
It’s much more than just a college town ! Check out the awesome shopping on M St. NW, and don’t miss the infamous Exorcist steps at the end of 36th Street NW.
I have lived here in Georgetown for almost a year and wouldn't live anywhere else!! From the little cafes to mom and pops tiny bistros ! I absolutely love living here!!!
Everything you would want! Great to walk around!
Lovely town with a wide variety of shops.
Georgetown is inaccessible (no metro/few bus stops ), in an inconvenient corner of the city , + has become a tourist mall . But it also has Dumbarton Oaks , the exorcist stairs + a decent waterfront .
Georgetown is the most wonderful neighborhood . It has the best shopping and it's by the harbor . Plus, the buildings are so pretty and gothic.
Hugo hope you're enjoying my old stomping grounds. Don't forget to have a beer and wings at The Tombs down the street from GTown. There is also great Latin, Arabic and African food near embassy row

Top tier shopping til you drop, then hit the waterfront for Great seafood and Ambiance. Maybe even a Booze cruise on the Potomac if you so please!
come watch Monday night football with the intoxicologist upstairs at the Rhino on 33rd and M street 10cent wings and $8 pitchers ...
Love the pedestrian culture of the area. It's extremely crowded ...parking is a hassle. Catch bus from Foggy Boggy Metro. Be sure to check out the waterfront !
You have to go there, to see the beautifully side from Washington. Small cute houses and shopping stores.
Always coming to M street for a lovely after or before meal stroll. The only downside: 10% city tax!
Great place. Make sure u stop by Georgetown Cupcake while you are there. Everything in this town makes me happy.

Cute as a button, but the main drag can get hectic during the weekends
Some shops are closing, because of Amazon and online shopping. But it's much live on the streets.
Spent 6 beautifull years and never forget and second. Be there at Halloween .
Ben & Jerry, Urban Outfitters and Sephora, all in the same street, with cosy houses. Very nice!
I love it but the problem its always busy
So cute with tons of shops and places to eat
The oldest part of DC before there was a DC ,be sure to get a cupcake at Georgetown Cup
one of my favorite places in DC
Great place to shop. Make sure you stop by Georgetown Cupcake while you're there.
Any crappy chain store you want. SoHo on steroids
Run the Exorcist stairs made famous in the 1973 horror classic. The stairs are located at Prospect St NW & M St. NW.
Here's a tip; don't tip the derelicts on the corner. Maybe then they will go away. Particularly that vagabond with the pink whale hat. "Ok get me on the way back."
One of the best places in Washington DC!????????
Check out old glory for great BBQ ! Also two bars for your drinking pleasure :)
Everything in this town makes you happy ..
Super cute ! Wish we could have spent more time there.
Nice area to spend your Sunday during the Spring/Summer
The sidewalks are treacherous in 4"+ heels. Foldable flats FTW.
Best shopping district in Washington, DC.
Plenty of straight people in boat shoes , if that's your thing.
This is the neighborhood right across the river from Rosslyn.
While you're in the neighborhood , stop by J.Paul's and check out their famous raw bar .
Definitely take the Circulator to get to Georgetown!
Try pleasure place...its awesome
it's lovely down here in the evening
go upstairs at Rhino bar on 33rd and M for happy hour . everything half off 6-9 Friday only.
Nothing but pretentious snobs who can't drive and have no idea what's going on outside of their 6 and 7 figure insignificant consumerist lives. Ironically where the slaves lived back in the day.
