Excellent flat whites and smashed avocado toast with fresh spinach on site. Strange to go straight through the kitchen to use the toilets . Feels unhygienic and a pitty for such a lovely place.
Wow!! Terrific coffee AND amazing breakfast ! What more could I ask for on a gorgeous Sunday morning -- besides a beautiful relaxed atmosphere !! Winner!!
As a Melburnian, I think L'Espresso has the best coffee in Ballarat - it has a distinct Lygon St quality, with Brunswick grunge to boot. Eggs are great too. Service sometimes slow but always friendly .
Good coffee . Needs to add alternative milk options. Place is tiny so when busy it is really pack. Service is fantastic. And if you are a records fan, this is paradise.
Great jazz , ambience while enjoying your espresso and watching the world go by. Heavenly Apple cider spice cake ...
Delicious food and great coffee . But dark inside so sit near the window.
One of my top 3 places for coffee in Ballarat . Good food & great atmosphere. Can be a bit squashy when its busy.

Overpriced CDs, pretentious clientele and slow service. To top it off, NO FREE WIFI ! What is this, 1950?!
