A really nice pub , full of locals but without the bolshy atmosphere. Range of ale and cider is good and there is a comprehensive wine list . Food is good value too. I love this place!
Really really good food!!! If you haven't tried it before the double 8oz steak and large salad is tasty!
If you're here in your lunch break try the £6 meal deal : sandwich , chips and a drink. It's good value , plus they'll get it to you in about 20 mins which is handy if you only get an hour for lunch .
