Park at The Beach Pub , pay £2 fee, go in, buy half of lager and packet of crisps (£2.40) get £2 refund for the car park . Cheapest parking around for 40p!

There is a good, new adventure playground at the Rakewood end of the lake , along with a bridge over the stream for playing pooh sticks. There's usually an ice cream van here too :-)

The visitor's centre is interesting with toilets and a reasonably priced cafe . Halfway round the lake is also a cafe with toilets . Be sure to bring lots of 2p coins for the amusement arcade !

Don't park at the Beach pub , it's £2 park on the council car park its only 90p ;)
