Kigali Genocide Memorial Center is a history museum Kigali located in Rwanda.
KG14 Avenue Kigali Rwanda
When you do the audio tour , I recommend to visit the museum part first, visit the monuments and gardens after. It gives you time reflect as some museum sections can cause strong emotional reactions.
Shocking, heart wrenching and soul affirming, it is something you just have to go to. Make sure you don’t miss the second floor
A sensitive memorial that while it marks atrocious evil deeds is really a vehicle for nation building. A sobering experience and worth an afternoon's reflection .
Entrance is free, but get the audio tour
Unfortunately a much needed reminder of recent history of Rwanda. Don’t miss this.
The audio tour is really great.
В кафе при музее геноцида - бесплатный вайфай. Приятно и цинично.
Beautiful work of art. Children are taught how to paint in here and there is Wema Cafe too - Wagithy Wanyeki
Beautiful hotel with a lovely pool. A little knowledge of french and/or kinyarwanda can go along way in communicating with the folks here - Flo Mwashimba
Must do when visiting Kigali. The market has fresh vegetables and fruit, fabric, gifts, home supplies. A great walking tour to explore the local taste. They close 8 so make sure u go early - Sally Zohney
