The Acme is excellent- whether you enjoy oysters or not- it's a definitely must eat in Metairie with lots of New Orleans food flare!

The seafood salad was yummy with the caesar dressing ; chargrilled oysters ..... Have had MUCH better from Dragos, Mike Anderson's & New Orleans Food & Spirit (Spinach Florentine); salad was DELISH!!

Got chicken and sausage gumbo , softshell crab , fried fish Pontchartrain, and boo fries . I would def recomend all but softshell crab . It was like salt water fried in bland batter... server was great.

Chargrilled oysters were excellent. Fried crab cake platter was also great. Definitely recommend it.

Raw oysters were good but the grilled were exceptional. Étouffée and red beans and rice were very fine renditions of Cajun classics.

Fun atmosphere , charbroiled oysters to die for. However!..everything else was a big fat let down. Sample platter was a salt bomb. Not a place to taste NO! Pam was fabulous server though.

Gumbo was terrible! It was so salty that I couldn’t eat it. It had 3 tiny popcorn shrimp in it that were pitiful and a little crab meat . Mostly broth. Definitely not worth the $10 I paid.
