Quiet Pohutakawa lined sandy beach . Nice and private as all the locals houses are elevated from the beach . Not much of a wave , so good for kids .

Great safe beach for swimming . Particularly beautiful in December when all the Pohutukawas that line the beach are laden with their famous red blooms.
