Love this place, but it's best to go non peak time . Beginning of September and the water is still warm

Edoardo de Pantz

Great beach with tiny white sand , on weekends with nice weather better arrive before 9, or forget it!

James Pimentel-Pinto

We used to go here every week in the summer from 1976 until 1986 . Amazing memories and fantastic beach . Need to revisit :)

Eoin Looney

If you think its a day for the beach then believe it that so does everyone else! Be prepared for long, long traffic queues if you didn't leave early. Like 6am early. £8 for parking . Fantastic beach .

Briggi M

Sandy beach , coffee shop and restaurant . Go early. Parking is £7.50 for all day for “winter” season

Chris Kennedy

Bring a windbreak it’s windy. The tide her goes out a very long way, don’t get caught out when the tide comes back in.

Derek Wilson

Go to far end of the car park and walk straight on. Turn right at beach and keep going 250 mtrs for the best dunes- but don'tell anyone else :-)

Dorian Logan

A victim of its own success. It should not allow 5000 cars. How emergency vehicles can get in - not to mention the 2 hours queue to get out and the impact to the villages . Stick to off peak times .

Tim Liew

A gorgeous expanse of sandy beach with ample (but pricey ) parking adjacent

Cui Su

BBQ friendly . Lots of white sand . Best beach for falling asleep with a book .

Lisa Pinto-Grinham

Generally works best in the section out from the cafe . Think there's a bit of a sand bar there that pushes the wave up more.

Andy Thornton

Proper sandy sand may possibly be worth paying the obscenely high car park entrance fee.

Joan Duong

Best beach in the whole of uk

Eliza Eliza

Lovely sandy beach

Melanie Hannah

Get there early to get your space on the beach as it gets very very busy

Edoardo de Pantz

Amazing September weather!

No shade: bring your own or fry on hot days.

Rich Tervet

Want to spend the afternoon here? Pack lunch and dinner and take the whole day .

Fantastic sandy beach to spend the whole day at, make sure you pack your BBQ .

Paul Fallon

Very hot & good for a trip.????

Go geo caching, quite a few around perimeter walks.
