A great place to eat very good food in Wanaka. We were lucky to get a shared table without a reservation – if you want a place, make a reservation to be sure. It's worth it. :-)
The breakfast is incredible, fantastic selection to choose from. The salmon quesadilla , the eggs benedict , and the banana bread are all worth trying
Pork belly and beef steak was very good. Their sauces were tasty! Forget the roast parsnips . Service was good and food was quickly served.
Salmon tempura delicious. Pasta with a puttanesca sauce also good. Polenta with ratatouille tasty but aubergines undercooked. Baked chocolate mousse also good
Had a superb dinner , came back for a really nice breakfast and discovered the most amazing cinnamon scrolls. TRY THEIR CINNAMON SCROLLS!
The place has been here for 25 years. Healthy breakfast options . Try their seafood chowder in tomato velouté.
Orange chocolate croissant bread and butter pudding is a must try.
Good breakfast menu with healthy options .
The spring onion potato cakes were great. Shame they didn't know what a piccolo was. I got flat whites :/
Toilets are single stalls with sliding doors. They do not fully close or lock; take your business elsewhere if it's going to be over 5 min long, or else you're going to be hustled.
Great steak sandwich . Usually steak sandwiches are pretty average in NZ.
The seafood chowder has no flavour and mostly contains vegetables .
Citrus/ginger slice - sublime!
The full breakfast here is pretty rad with sunny side up eggs , the yolks win.
The coffee
Have the Dunedin clams , absolutely delicious!
Average breakfast . Nothing innovative.
Wild goat is just devine
I highly recommend the veg gf risotto!!!! Such a great dish with amazing tastes! - megan davis
Amazing shareable food and a quiet patio off the main drag. A little difficult to find, but a gem of a spot. - Chris Albrecht
Great coffee & yummy food eat in or takeaway. Lots of Spanish, Italian & NZ treats! - Ian McCarroll
Beautiful calm lake. Crystal clear water and contrasting mountains in the background. Definitely worth a stop. The lone tree was a bit disappointing to see, but the pictures are cool. - Julie
It would be cheaper to have groceries shipped from Auckland - Morgan Langley
One place on top of my bucket list. My dream came true. Wanaka and Wanaka lake are fantastic! - Gilberto Medeiros
