The spinach dip is great and the vegetarian sincronizada is the best I've had! I've tried it at all the Mexican restaurants in new bern and nothing compares to their dishes.

Best Mexican food joint in town . Cerro Grande is resonably priced , good service and atmosphere and come hungry thier portions are on the larger side.

One of the waiters spilled my drink, ended up soaking me and my mom only apologized and ordered someone to clean it up after that no one came by to see how our food was or to pick up our plates

Coming from Oklahoma, where the Mexican food is even better than Texas, El Cerro meets the mark for me...particularly the Carne Azada dinner . Awesome!
