If you're headed back to New York Penn Station , go to the front of the platform . You might be lucky enough to get a seat.

Hungry? No food (except Dunkins) here at the train station , but ... take the tram to airport terminal C (8 min) for Chili 's Too (drinks and food, 4 min walk). Easy solve.

Just got in from a 10hr flight that came in early and you would rather have empty seats on the 12:56 train than switch my 2:34 ticket. I will be sure to take NJT instead from now on.

Nice warming rooms (with baños) down at the tracks going both directions . Clutch in the winter.

Perfectly placed public restrooms in these little indoor waiting huts. Private lockable rooms, gender neutral.

Note the gorgeous flat screen TV 's that don't actually show when the next train is coming, but rather, just adds for Chase credit cards.

Make sure you keep your New Jersey Transit train ticket as you can get into the AirTrain at no extra cost with it

Make sure you take your pink NJT ticket with you for access to the Airtrain! Easy peasy, no parking worries!

When a train roars by it's fun to watch the people in the waiting room get startled. They never saw it coming, and boy does that glass shake.

Poorly thought out, designed and operated. It's a Mickey Mouse system, literally!! The Airtrain is the same basic model used at Disneyland and Disney World. Good idea!!

If traveling from airport to NYC on NJ Transit, download and set up your NJTransit account & get tix before you arrive. Avoid the ticket machine queue!

You can't beat the 15 buck trip to Newark Airport .. Only 20 min also from Penn Station .

This station would be improved with a vending machine since NJ Transit often requires extra waiting. It's nice that it has toilets though.

The bathrooms located at the platform close after 10PM - if you got to go, there are bathrooms open behind the Amtrak ticketing desk

This is the best form of transportation to New York

There is no "street level " access here, so once you cross that gate, it's time to wait. Choose wisely.

Payed 15.5$ for a ride to Secaucus, where I have to make a transfer to a bus . Then I checked Uber and the same route (w/o any delays - the train is late by 20 mins) and transfers costs 24$ ????????‍♂️

Found out the hard way that this station is not accessible by car (eg for drop off or pickup). Either airtrain from Newark airport or njtransit or amtrak.

If you have problems getting through with you ticket, just show it to the guy there and I will open up the gate for you

Don’t be fooled, you have to pay for the AirTrain in your NJT fare. If you’re more than 1 person, it’s cheaper to cab it.

No ticket station so either buy in advance or use one of the quiktrack machines.

If you lose your train ticket you can pay with your paypass.

Restroom in the platform opening 10AM to 10PM(Now 23:30...oh...)

Cheaper to take a cab/ Uber if you are more than one person travelling

So the Amtrak counter is supposed to have someone from 9am-7pm, but don't count on it. consider taking a NJ Transit train to 30th Street in Philadelphia for much cheaper-switch at Trenton.

The train to Penn is a nightmare. I'll still to LGA and a cab thanks very much.

Always get on the last car, both directions . Puts you closest to escalator

No food here besides a small Dunkin Donuts . If you're coming in from the AP, grab food at Terminal C.

Easy to get to on the Newark

Don't drink your Starbucks on the train or risk spillage - it's a bumpy ride into Manhattan

The restrooms are very clean here. Better poop here before you get to NYC.

This thing moves pretty quickly. Alot of inertia is apparent when standing!

The AirTran is always broken, ensuring that you miss your connecting train . They do this on purpose and then are nasty about it

If going to EWR, keep your train ticket so you'll have access thru the turn styles at this station.

There is a waiting room on the platform , so no reason to freeze outside.

No place to eat. If you are connecting from the airport stay there if you have to kill time

Its the way to go to work and get home

This is a well run operation.....not a bad way to connect back to Philly

What a terrible experience getting here from EWR. Be prepared to wait, wait, then wait some more.
