When the wait is long , it has to be good and yes it was!!! French Toast was awesome and the kids loved the chicken and waffle plate!!! Great coffee too!

Very good breakfast place- the cinnamon buns are great!! It's got your typical American food . Think of Cracker Barrel but yummier and more homey . If you don't want breakfast , get the grilled cheese !!

Think of it as a Cracker Barrel with the local independent touch. Add in a wonderful bakery . The location in old downtown New Bern is wonderful, though parking can sometimes be a bit rough.

Breakfast is a must. Sausage gravy and biscuits and a cinnamon bun is the best!! Whatever you order, ask for half unless you will definitely need a to-go box.

Belgian Waffle ! You can add whip cream and fruit BUT it is amazing with Chicken ! Get the Butter Syrup !

The homemade maple syrup is amazing, and the Dutch potatoes are out of this world!

The service can be hit or miss, but the food is delicious. Try the Dutch potatoes , they are cheesy potato goodness.

Coffee served in a mug and make all of their breads / biscuits . They have real maple syrup !!!
