Top production values and a set of great venues. A broad palate of productions not remotely limited to Shakespeare. Lots of other stuff to do and eat in Ashland make every trip there a treat.
I didn't think I liked Shakespeare until I came here for the first time, and now I try to travel from Seattle to here every year. All the plays are world class and more than Shakespeare, too.
Green shows are free! 715pm T-Su from Memorial day to Labor day. Then, stop by the box office to see if there are any rush tickets (cheaper!) for that nights shows.
If you're in Ashland for more than a night, you have to see a show! It's SO worth the money & you won't be disappointed. Take a stroll downtown before/after the show to window shop & for fine dining .
I have attended once or twice where I enjoyed my time. Back in the late 80's when my parents discovered Ashland, OSF & everything the city has to offer they came every year until they retired here.
This Tony Award winning festival is seriously good and has made the small town of Ashland famous. Every play features world class actors who deliver amazing performances throughout the season.
If you are between the ages of 19-35, sign up to get their 19-35 promo! Weekly email of shows, with open seats available for $25 each! Currently sitting 5 rows from the stage, dead center, for 1/4 $$$

Amazing performances . Quality productions. A must if you love live theatre .
Beautiful town , great plays, great dining options. Walk everywhere.
Don't skip the backstage tours . Excellent guides with really interesting information.
Any seat is a good seat unless you don't like the sides. Make time before the show to walk through downtown Ashland.
Very excited to see The Count of Monte Cristo & Fingersmith this season...oh and much much more!!! So excited.
Three venues operate most of the year though all stages dark approx Nov-Jan. Elizabethan is beautiful but can be chilly off season. Roam the wonderful downtown and park . Read more

Bring your bike ! It's a beautiful place to ride before an evening show
Wonderful theatre .
It's a bucket list worthy thing to do.
$20 tickets to the Bowmer are just as good as the $75 ones. No joke. "She Loves Me" was amazing btw.
Great theater , pubs and shops.
Two Gents of Verona .
I got to sing a Greenshow one year and forgot to use my free tickets. Bummer!
Just see everything
The smaller scale of this theater adds to the intensity of the plays staged here. No bad seats. - Rick Lindemann
Seats in the first row directly under the balcony are perfect. Protection from any light rain, and still close enough to be right there in the thick of it. Gorgeous theatre. - Holly Porterfield
Even numbered seats 24-32 in row E (and their odd-numbered counterparts on the other side) are over the actors tunnels, so there is no seating in front of you to obstruct your view. - Todd G.
Great pizza by the slice with salad and a drink. Ordered the whole pie and a large Mediterranean Caesar salad. Friendly and good service. - Kalani
