McCaig's Tower is a prominent tower on Battery Hill overlooking the town of Oban in Argyll, Scotland. It is built of Bonawe granite taken from the quarries across Airds Bay, on Loch Etive, from Muckairn, with a circumference of about 200 metres with two-tiers of 94 lancet arches.

You get a beautiful view of the town and the neighboring islands from this interesting monument . The monument itself holds a little park sanctuary inside— very peaceful . :)
Being an unfinished building it makes for an interesting folly. The tower is situated on one of the highest points in Oban and offers fantastic views over Oban Bay .
