Best zoo experience I've ever had. Make sure to see the animal show ; the birds are very beautiful and well trained . You can feed the kangaroos and pet koalas . Tip: go when the kids are in school.
Best Zoo I've ever been to! The animal shows are amazing - definitely go there! My favourite was the Koala walk - it's just so cute to be so close to those animals. You can even pat some if you like!
If you can afford it take the guided tour wealth of knowledge which is an asset to the zoo , croc shows awesome specially with the free flight bird show, Tamara was our tour guide she was fantastic.
The zoo is a very big place. Take the shuttle to stop 5 (Africa) and walk back from there. Especially in summer.
Everything is really expensive but when you take into account the amazing things they do and all the animals they care for and feed it's worth it. The staff are lovely and helpful. Wonderful place.
Get to the wildlife warriors show a bit early and grab a seat above exit 5, 6, 10 or 11 to get up close and personal with the birds that star in the show.
What an awesome spot. Highly recommend that anyone wanting to experience a magnificent Australian Zoo that you check this place out. Exceptionally well run, clean and staff super helpful
Variety of animals to see, option to take your own pace. There are some animals out and about (with attendants), giving little ones a chance to get close. Wombat on a leash was one example.
The place is extremely nice with all the cute baby animals that are there plus the zoo keepers as well are so kind
Excellent day out. You’ll need a full day so don’t think you can cram it in with any less. There’s a lot including the shows which are all worth seeing!

Enjoyed seeing native Australian wildlife . The shows were informative and entertaining. Great place to visit. 🌟🌟🌟🌟
Pretty Zoo ! Great crocs shows with feeding the animals. Worth to visit if you are around! ;-)
The animal show at 12 was fantastic. Liked the giraffe and rhino enclosures as well . Very big and roomy .
Unfair to call this place a zoo , more of a sanctuary.. Friendly staff , great sense of humor.. Tiger show is awesome.. Fantastic exhibits .. Just a beautiful place! :-)
Great for the kids plenty to do. Foods a bit pricey but great for a treat with the kids.
Enjoyable Day good shows well run all ages and disabled can get around to see most venues
Must try the animal encounter. Better reserve it online in advance, especially for popular one, ex: Koala.
Kangaroos are really harmless and friendly ! Koalas, too! U can have a close-up photo-op with them! I just did!
awesome day out at the Australia Zoo & supporting the Irwin’s Wildlife Conservation
If you are on the Sunshine Coast, whether a local or tourist , I recommend you take the time to visit Australia Zoo - it is much more than a few crocs, and really is a special experience.. Read more
The best seats for the Crocoseum show are near the exits half way up the stands.
There are friendly people here, all seem to be wearing bush greens, great place to bring the entire family :)
Was an awesome day. Lots of animals and attractions and the food prices were high but decent servings were to be had
A plastic, commercial, US-like experience!!! Not for real animal lovers nor people interested in scientific facts. It's all about money and show. Should be called 'kids amusement park ' instead of zoo .
My favorite place I went to in Australia!
Big and nice but very hot in the summer time
AUSTRALIA ZOO - MUST SEE Australia Zoo is a world-renowned zoo located in Beerwah, Queensland, Australia.

The ”colosseum” show is a must.
Best use English speaking guides. Queensland accent is not accessible for foreign visitors
Don't wear jeans to Australia Zoo in the middle of summer and don't forget your camera
Have an encounter with a tassie devil, so cuddly.. Great experience, a very unique zoo ! :-)
The home of the Irwins. Crocodiles an dancing with the stars.
Took a trip to Australia Zoo for the afternoon and managed to see one of the live animal shows . They wanted to show people how quick a 'croc' can move on land.
Stained and ripped old towels mean a lot to a sick koala. Pay an extra $2 to see the animals in the Wildlife Warriors Hospital and donate a towel at the same time. It's good karma. Read more
Amazing experience! Don't miss it! You get to pet and feed a lot of animals.
