Ceres Bus bound to Bantayan goes with the RoRo. If your destination is only at Sta. Fe area, you only need to pay the bus until Hagnaya Port. RoRo fare is P170 (+ terminal fee P10).

2 ferry companies ply ports Hagnaya [Medellin] - Sta.Fe [Bantayan ]. Island Shipping owns the slooow going ferries while Super Shuttle owns the ones that never seem to arrive. Pick your exasperation.

The ferry trip is every two hours. Make sure you get to ride the passenger ferry , not the barge. Also, there's an area in the passenger ferry that's airconditioned.

Point of interest the roro does have water to flush - but they pump in sea water ;p so bring your own mineral to wash your face or gargle your mouth.

The ticket for the aircon part of the ship, as of april 2013, is 180 petot plus the terminal fee of 10 petot <: ....... A bit smelly in the aircon area though but ac working and its effin hot outside

..P170 for super shuttle ferry plus P10 terminal fee to see the beautiful island of Bantayan .. not bad.. #exciting

Should be developed given the influx of tourists going to the islands . Port is typical of the undeveloped, hot and dirty small ports all over the country

Its good to know that after Super Typhoon Haiyan, the province is starting to stand up again.

There's a ferry trip every two-hour interval. The 930am trip is always full.

Wifi is not free. Student discount is over 30 pesos !!!!

I thought it would take forever to go here from Cebu City . Twas a looong trip. Whew!

Make sure you know the time of the trips, otherwise you'll wait long.
