Ethan Kirschbaum's modern classes are amazing, and Melinda Wilson really takes the time to teach her students as individuals. I've learned so much!

Go to Bollywood Groove's Dance Classes on Monday and Wednesday nights. Instructor Ajanta is da bomb, baby! You will leave with a "Bollygroove high!"

Love Hubbard Street. Melinda is the best for Jazz Dance . Love her! Check out their open house . They have one every quarter.

I have taken at Ballet Chicago, Ruth Paige, and dropped in at a few others in town . This is my absolute favorite for adult drop in classes .

The classes are only $12 with a University of Chicago student id

They make you pay an extra $10 the first time you buy a class card, but don't expect to ever get the card. I got mine a year later.

ZocStar Carolyn had a great time at Dome's beginner hip hop class , where they learned choreography to Janet Jackson's "If!"

There are more organized dance studios in the city . Though my instructor is great, their desk staff is not.
