Beware of falling glasses, airport built by govt so for the 63rd time glass has fallen at various locations, try the Krispy creme doughnut near exit to gate13/14 and also you can buy dhoti at ramraj

D new airport has definitely got lotta standards. Its hassle free and huge space makes commutation a lot more easier. D segregation of arrival and departure points is an added advantage.

The travel club lounge is good. Irish house is good. Copper chimney restaurant is good. No places to shop in this terminal. But a lot of eating joints.

One more instance of glass breakage, among Lcc indigo gets aero bridge facility apart from Air India, Air India boarding berth could be International Airport and you need to walk a bit while boarding

At the Chennai Airport , Domestic or International the Sangeetha restaurant is a best place to have a quick healthy meal .

There is bar & restaurant at level 2 above the left wing departure. Passengers and Visitors are allowed, drinks and food are priced decent. This place is open 24x7!

Huge and spacious ... Cleanly maintained... Nice view of the flights from the waiting lounge !!

Had Chennai Idli, Vada and Pongal in a south Indian restaurant after searching a lot inside the airport ... Taste was yummy... It's near "Gate 7-10" Don't miss it if you are damn hungry...!

You'll find pigeons flying inside the airport . Jokes aside, it has not been well maintained since the new terminals have been built.

Definitely Chennai domestic airport is much better than the international airport . Very well maintained.

Lot of space but not enough chairs to sit, passengers are sitting at the floor / X-ray machine tray especially in the early morning !

Modern airport with ample facilities for food (KFC, Pizza Hut, Subway, etc.) Pleasant way to wait for your flight .

Visit marina beach if u have spare time. Get local train to "Chennai Fort" from Trisulam rly station (25 mins). Auto/Bus to beach (15 mins). Cloak room is near domestic airport ,nxt to police station .

Early morning flight at 4 means your aircraft is berthed at the St Thomas mount end cargo terminal of the airport for refuelling. Saw indigo and air Costa planes , long travel by bus .

Can't believe on has to come out of the arrivals at ground floor and then get back in for departures at the first floor .. Can't we just move from within ..

all you get inside the airport is cup noodles or a sandwich . so if you are planning to have lunch or dinner , you will be disappointed.

If the check-in line on the ground floor is too long, just take the elevator upstairs where hardly anyone will be checking-in, and you can also find more seats to sit & relax before your flight . There

Definitely grab breakfast at Madras Coffee House or if you prefer a fancier place, then ID.

Spacious airport . If you are flying out from Chennai, don't forget to pick up some sweets from Sri Krishna just before you check-in.

Nights, rainy days and election getting a cab here is difficult, hope the newly built metro will help, to be operational upto koyambedu bus terminus soon

Lot of traffic to reach busy hours so have enough time to reach. Metro constructions add to the traffic. And security checks eat up your time.

Get a massage at the o2 spa . The masseuses are the best amongst all the airport o2 spas i've visited. Everything else here is rubbish!

The new airport is a relief from the old one (better loo's and infrastructure) but it qstill needs to gain that edge! Food options are really less & most talked about maggi stand sucks big time too..!

Finally there are food options here other than cup o noodles . There is chennai food express ???? and the Irish house pub ????

Comparatively smaller airport that ensures checkin and security checks easier. One of the very few airports which is within the city .

Has improved in the last one year. Better and more outlets for food. Areas sourced up toilets maintained better and security moves a tad faster now.

Domestic departure on second floor. Can be disorienting. Use the lift between domestic arrival gate 2 and 3. New airport is pretty slick. Hope they keep it clean

You will not find good food options inside. Try Sangeetha restaurant just next to entry gates for a good meal.

Big improvement to what the airport used to be. Actually quite impressed and staff seem to be polite and helpful enough.

Loooooooooong queues at the security checkpoint. The airport may be new and shiny but it looks like some things never change.

This government mismanaged airport is a joke on the Indian taxpayer. Taxi drivers will fleece you. Rules are broken routinely for some 'VIP's.

Always book your pick or drop taxi from Internet, it's cheap .. No matter which taxi service you go for

So much of rush for security checkin between 5-6 in morning.. Make sure you come on time

There's a lounge on the second floor before security that is advertised to be free for Visa Signature cardholders, but they wouldn't accept my US-issued card. It's worth a try if you have a card.

Serious lack of food or shop options. If you plan to take food for your plane hope buy it before you get to the airport . The only lounge here is a Jet airways business class lounge that is very poor.

don't have your own water bottle?! buy one at ₹10 at the maggi counter near gate 3. refill as required later.

They are not joking when they ask you to come two hours early for morning flights . Significantly crowded during morning hours. Come around 2:30 hours early

Try the tiny Maggi noodles counter if your in the domestic terminal and feel hungry.

Good airport , but not so much shopping places.. Limited shops. More security checks so if crowded too easily you can pass through
