Tunnel still exist employees use it often to go from one side to the other, for supplies and such. It's in the basement of each building and runs under the turnpike .

This is the best rest stop I've ever visited! It has a Starbucks! Enough said!!

6:00 on a summer Friday evening and they have one cashier for the food, with at least two registers unattended while several employees mill around.

Look for the tunnel connecting the eastbound and westbound plazas . The westbound plaza is smaller because it didn't have any eateries ; you would use the tunnel to get to the eastbound plaza eateries .

The guy working the cashier at the pizza place is lazy. My hands were full and I asked for my stuff to be bagged. He gave me the bag. Well umm thanks for helping me bro.

travelers beware of buying gas on the turnpike! 2x at 2 different rest stops , this one included, I had my credit card # stolen and charges were made.

Stop at Sideling Hill Service Plaza instead. It's bigger, nicer, and cleaner. Plus tons of good food options.

I was on the Eastbound side. Clean , modern, and the workers I talked to were friendly .

Can we get something better food-wise on this side besides Quiznos and Sbarro ? Unappetizing.

I felt very fancy stopping at this service plaza . Low and behold the employees were nice.

Mens bathroom was very clean . Quiznos sandwich shop was good.

Make sure u don't bypass the looong Starbucks line for the coffee near restrooms . The coffee near restrooms tastes like it $#!+

The tunnel connecting the two plazas has been closed since the 1980s. Most employees won't know it exists.

Highway robbery. The prices are outrageous. Probably better off getting something to eat in Breezewood or waiting until you reach your destination.

Terribly slow service at the one and only place to get a meal, Burger King. They had one guy picking the orders and calling them out by number...waiting for their owner to step up and claim.

Short Sarah that works at Starbucks, no personality and very rude. Over employees complaining about their work schedule. They need to cheer up!

They closed the mens restroom down completely to clean it, not allowing anyone in despite 30 person line to the unisex restroom . Couldn't even stop cleaning for 20 minutes to let people go.
