Smart looking pub . Gets very busy. Decent real ale .

Good beer-garden, good atmosphere... one of the more lively places in Beaconsfield on a Friday/Saturday night.

Good food and good service (a little over zealous at times, but not too much ;-) )

The starter portions are ideally-sized for a quick lunch . The seafood linguini is especially good.

The food was ok, as a vegetarian there is not much choice. I booked a table and got given one next to the bathroom . We would probably go somewhere else if I knew that was the case.

Service is lousy the day we were in for lunch . Dartmoor Tor Sausage are dreadful: avoid. Steaks small and food often a bit cold when they are busy.

New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc is better than the Italian.
