Death Valley National Park is a national park Death Valley located in United States.
Hwy 190 Death Valley , CA 92328 United States
You don't go to Death Valley looking for great food. You come for the hiking and the fantastic views . The scenery is like no other place you have been. You will find desert, trees , volcanic remains.
Don’t miss Badwater Basin , Dante’s View , Mesquite Sand Dunes , Zabriskie Point , and Devil’s Golf Course . Scotty’s Castle is closed ‘till 2020 due to flood damage.
Words and pictures can't do justice... Mysterious and gorgeous DV has a powerful, unique energy and is comparable to no place I've ever been. Quiet your mind, just feel, and listen with your soul
We visited Death Valley at the end of February, when the weather was quite comfortable , but it was here when in summer 1913 the world's absolute hottest temperature of 56.7°C was recorded. ????
Totally worth driving through the best spots in Death Valley early AM (enter the park before 6am in the summer to avoid super heat starting as of 10am) - rent a convertible to do that - priceless!!!
.???? What we managed to check out in Death Valley:▪️ Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes .▫️ Furnace Creek Visitor Center.▪️ Zabriskie Point .▫️ Natural Bridge Trail .▪️ Badwater Basin .▫️ Artists Drive .
Plan your visit! There is far too many things to see. Devote at least some time to walking.
Come early to see the Milky Way and stay for the sunrise. Explore early while it’s cool with a full tank and supplies. Watch for wildlife .
One of my favorite national parks with extremely diverse terrain to explore.
This place is incredibly beautiful, but so...very...hot. Wear protective clothing , a hat and don't forget to take lots of photos! Bad water basin is amazing!!!
Go in November. Hardly any tourists & much lower temperatures. Be sure to still bring plenty of water & snacks . Watch you gas & temperature gauge in your car & be cautious of running the A/C too long.
Beautiful place when the weather won't kill you. Always have plenty of water at all times.
Stay hydrated! Be sure to bring plenty of water! The heat is a killer, literally!
Cycling from Furnace Creek to Dante's View is fantastic but not for those out-of-shape. 40+ miles round trip. Don't forget a windbreaker for the descent. 15 degrees colder at the top.
Feb/March is a great time for wildflowers ! Take a day to drive around and see the sights. The dunes are awesome!
Make sure you have gas and water before you make this trip. They call it Death Valley for a reason.
Visit the information office and take a map with the important and popular places... It's very hot, take water with you. Amazing views ...
I liked but I was expecting more based on all ads and its size, it has many closed parts, not well signed, restrooms on the road really dirty and full of flys, need to see Red Rock Canyon to improve
Hottest, driest, lowest national park . Make sure to see sunrise and sunset off the mountains
December here is awesome. Shortened days are made up for by the pleasant weather. Also (oddly) less crowded . Start your day early.
Very interesting place, if you have a chance to see the super bloom go see it now! ????
The best time to visit this park is evening, but it still hot. Or before sunrise.
You might think it's a barren wasteland, but bring a camera . Amazing rock formations to be seen.
If you're as lucky as we were, you might also encounter coyotes on the roads .
If you go to the racetrack please don't take the rocks home, they only have value where they are at. You will soon bore of them at home.
So much to explore and beyond incredible when flowers are in bloom.
The scenery looks (literally) out of this world. In summer take plenty water and sun protection. Zabriskie Point , Badwater, Artists Palette and Ubehebe Crater are places not to miss.
PAnamint springs is a great place to stay in the summer - it's cooler than the valley!! :) campgrounds have a nice view and usually isn't crowded
While driving, keep your speed down. The number one cause of Death in Death Valley is single-car rollovers. Be prepared with this free emergency app from the Red Cross. Read more
Beautiful park with fun hikes !
devils golf course and dantes peak are a must visit
Make sure you're around Mosaic Canyons, Sand Dunes , and Bad Water Basin. Views and overlooks cool, too.
The Race Track is awesome - food is expensive - Rangers and Employees are all very nice!
Make sure you visit this place during the summer. Winter might give you a far-too cheerful experience.
It's amazing here. But be prepare to drive a lot. The park is so large!
A beautiful Park with awesome dry desert sand scenery
Hot hot hot stay at the ranch instead of the nps campsite same price but with wifi showers and a pool.
Take the extra 15 minutes to navigate "Artist Drive " for some of the most spectacular views of Death Valley.
Absolutely awesome experience--could not take enough pics. Jaw dropping!
At night there're amazing stars in the sky! So beautiful and exciting
Amazing Park . Drive around and do some hiking .
Leave plenty of time. The distances are quite large as all the attractions are scattered throught the park .
Bring water an a hat. In summer temperatures can be unbearable
iPhone Maps worked well - expensive food - VERY NICE PEOPLE!
Do the racetrack in February...that way your tires don't go pop!
Surreal sceneries!
Go to Dante's view , the view is breathtaking
Car enthusiasts: In the hot months manufacturers take their cars here for hot-weather testing. Look out for them taking a break in the car park at Furnace Creek .
Free open wifi at Stovepipe Wells gift shop . Check in before your iphone overheats!
Zabriskie Point is a must see!
