If you need to park pre 0930 and there are no spaces by the building, make sure you use the over flow car park on the other side of the goods shed (great beer ) to avoid getting a £45 fine!

If you're waiting for high speed trains to London go to the end of the platform as there's always plenty of space up there.
Toilets are free, but they're the other side of the barriers .
If you have to buy a ticket, arrive at least 20 minutes early. One ticket booth usually open and only two machines - unbelievable.
Get here early if you need to buy a ticket in the morning. Invariably not enough ticket staff on while the rest stand about chatting.
After 6pm the barriers are usually wide open
