This place is awesome! I come here all the time for the best Menudo an Micheladas in town . They also have great Carne Guisada . La Mexicana is centrally located and offers excellent service.
Authentic Mexican food . Loved the Pozole and the Machacado taco . Would love to come on a weekend to try the carnitas and barbacoa .

Decent Tex-Mex food with decent margaritas . Lots of competition from other places during the week, but Sunday brunch is fabuloso.
Love the Juevos Rancheros con carne (beef fajita ). Come hungry because its a lot of food and so delicious with homemade flour tortillas .
Vegeterian try the simple dish of corn tacos + refried beans + papas mexicanos (breakfast patatoes with onions , green peppers etc) + Sour cream .

I'm pretty sure that this is the best Tex-Mex food in town . Their Margaritas aren't too shabby either.
There aren't any drink specials ! Do yourself a favor and find a place on the south side of Houston for better food and bigger margaritas !
Food is great! But... Save your money and order a beer instead of the drinks... They have one ingredient: alcohol . The descriptions all sound so good, but they are not at all what they claim to be.
Tacos de Carnitas super good! Horchata is yummy too. Pass on the chilaquiles though; not worth it.
My favorite breakfast tacos in Houston! The chicken tortilla soup is also pretty solid.
The chilaquiles are amazing! Also the tacos de huevo a la mexicana. Their mimosas are not good. But the aguas frescas are life savers
Disgraceful. Prices are ridiculous considering you can throw a rock in any direction and find a mexican restaurant in Houston. Guacamole from a can, queso is like water, and enchilada plates at $15.
The carne guisada was tasty. Good service , even when busy.

Don't underestimate fajita portion sizes
Ordered four tacos and two drinks. Half of the tacos and all the drinks were wrong. The bill was a mess and has what we ordered not what we ate. Last time here.
