Terminal for United flights. Well organized , clean . Security line is slow and long, give extra time. After security; food court is very big, with many shops and restaurants . Lounge is big, but busy.

If you live on the West side of Manhattan, it's probably easier for you to fly out of EWR than JFK. ~28 mins from Penn Station on the NJT and an AirTrain that only stops at 3 terminals....and works

United now boards from front to back. This takes longer than the way Continental used to do it. Get seats closer to the front or there will be no baggage space for you

If you have TSA PreCheck, make sure to go into the correct lane... the agents at front don't always direct you to the correct line !!!!

An amazing selection of restaurants and markets . Gets better every time while Terminal A just seems to sit there collecting dust. Would be nice to see even a LITTLE bit of Terminal C in A.

If you're super-pressed for time, like I was, find a sky cap and tip him/her well . Otherwise, I might still be waiting to check in...

For lunch , burgers or subs from the food court are the most convenient option (~$10). Cold sandwiches instead are all above $10, besides being all very small...

So here’s the deal - the iPad ordering restaurants are cool and plentiful. But the restrooms look like old bus terminal bathrooms with not enough stalls. Seems crazy they did not improve the bathrooms

Nicer than it used to be. Buying items is humanless and required you to scan everything which can sometimes be a bit of a pain.

If crowded , it my be worthwhile to see which security checkpoint is moving faster. All go to all gates.

The airport is great. It is the drivers that do not pay attention to other drivers.

Called United ahead of flight to acquaint procedure. Accompany 91-yo disabled vet, dad. Got to gate; made to get out of transport chair. Boarding started-no chair. Gate personnel extremely rude. AWFUL

You should always pack ear plugs, in case you have screaming children on your flight. We lucked out, 5.5 hours for the first leg, and there they are for the last hour flight. Wish I had ear plugs...

As of Jan 2020, Clear is in Terminal C. Totally worth every penny. Get it and get through, faster.

Pretty slow service at all the food joints.. Keep at least 20 mins for your food to show up.. And you have to pay at the self service counter for everything.. Its confusing but that's what it is!

For diner food on the center concourse, don't be fooled by mediocre Vanguard Kitchen. Garden State Diner (gate 109) has better food, a bigger, much cheaper menu, and you order from an actual human!

Best way to get to EWR is the $16 bus from Grand Central or Port Authority. They practically fly here.

Definite try to stuff everything into a carry on and check in from home or the office ! One less line to worry about.

I was a Jet Blue/JFK/Terminal 5 loyalist, but since moving to NJ, this has been amazing!

Try eating at OTC. I had a salad and a sandwich great food, good service .

Why does it always take 40+ minutes to retrieve baggage at terminal C. Last week the sign said our bags would be at carousel 31, after 40 minutes, we were moved to carousel 5. Lazy staff .

Let Passengers get lost in airport may be their seat you need to non rev home always ask where their going first if its your seat they want lead em astray!

If you're using the mobile check- in, make certain your brightness is at maximum in settings before scanning your barcode.. Or it won't scan

Easily the longest lines you will see at an airport before 7am. So sit back just smile and nod :-)

New pizzeria at the arrivals level is very slow. If you want to eat something “fast” this is not your place. Go to the Starbucks nearby instead.

Customs operations were chaos.

Continental fliers beware, after the united merger there is much confusion about concourse A and C, be sure and clarify. This place is way to busy for the little security checkpoint they have.

The restrooms are indeed pretty vile. Found more than one stall without a waste bin for, um, lady products-- keep an eye out girls!

Make sure to catch a bite here before taking the shuttle to Terminal A- many more options in C

Don't get the French ham and Swiss panini at Green Leaf's but DO try to be there by 11AM for breakfast . The Mediterranean Greek salad is very good!

Get a double-shot at Gallagher's for only $3 extra. Then sleep thru your flight.
